Ian Mulvey Event Director
With nearly four decades of experience, Ian has extensive knowledge of mountain environments & outdoor activities.
With a competitive background throughout the UK & alps covering a wide variety of endurance sports including fell, trail & mountain ultra running, multi day adventure racing, triathlons & duathlon, Ian has a genuine passion for the outdoors.
In addition, Ian spent five years as an active team member in Mountain Rescue, qualifications include a Bsc (Hons) degree in Sports Science & qualified Mountain Leader (summer).
This knowledge and experience combined with 14 years as an event organiser ultimately comes through in the events he creates.
Emily Roberts Director
Emily moved to the Lake District in 2002 to pursue her passion for the outdoors, particularly the Lake District environment, where she gained a Bsc (Hons) degree in Outdoor Studies, specialising in environmental studies.
Emily has experience competing in triathlons, adventure racing, trail & ultra running. Her main passion is mountain trail running, of which achievements include top finishes in the Ultra Trail Picos de Europa in Northern Spain, the Eiger Ultra Trail 50k and a Trail marathon in the Pitzal Valley of Austria, aptly named the ‘Trail Maniak.’
Emily was previously an active full team member of the local Mountain Rescue Team, always striving to learn new skills and to share this with others.
Marie Thompson...Everything
Marie is one of those rare individuals whose enthusiasm never wavers no matter what is thrown at her. Always ready to help out with a smile and a positive outlook, she is invaluable to our team.
As a qualified nurse working in A&E, Marie can be relied upon to help in any situation with calm efficiency.
Always with a spirit of adventure, her interests include hiking, trail running, pilates and yoga.
