Rachel began with volunteering at the Borrowdale Trail Races when she was injured 3 years ago and has been with us ever since! With a background in teaching, (perhaps why she never wants to sit still ;) she always needs to be kept busy, proving to be a useful skill on the event weekends!
Rachel is invaluable on the team as she is always cheerful and enthusiastic. She can usually be found doing many roles at the events, from registration to marshalling, sweeping and collecting in the course markers. She is highly efficient at whatever she turns her hand to.
Rachel has a passion for the outdoors and trail running in particular, competing herself at many events including our very own 25k Ennerdale Trail Run.
